FAQ

FAQ

  • I want to build a new home. Where should I start?

You can start by arranging a no-obligation appointment with Connolly Homes, where we will be able to direct you on finance, house and land packages, land availability, home design, and price.

  • Should I consult my builder before I buy a block of land?

It is recommended that you discuss your intended land purchase with your builder as they can assist you in finding a suitable block.

Keep in mind that if you are independently purchasing a block of land to check the available building envelope/easements (the area within the lot for construction) as this will vary across blocks/land estate areas and may affect the home that you can build.

  • Can I make changes to my plan?

    Absolutely!

At Connolly Homes all floor plans are flexible and are guaranteed to suit your family and its growing needs, so you can modify any design to suit your lifestyle at NO CHARGE!

  • What should I do if none of the Connolly Homes plans suit my needs

    Don't worry about it!

We have a draftsman available to consult and design a plan suited to your needs and lifestyle. We will arrange a meeting for you to begin your design concepts!

  • Can I build with Connolly Homes if I already have a plan or sketch?

Yes certainly! If you already have a sketch or a house already drawn up we are more than happy to quote on works other than our plans. Call us to discuss specifications and we can quickly provide you with a fixed price quote for the works.

  • What is a fixed price contract?

A fixed price contract guarantees the price of your new home!

With honest, up-front pricing, you can better prepare your budget and won’t receive any nasty surprises later when getting the bill!

  • What exactly are 'inclusions'?

Inclusions are fixtures and features that are included in the price of your new home.

In our inclusions list, we let you have the freedom to pick which inclusions you want!

For example, with the oven, you can either choose electric, gas, built-in, or free-standing.

  • Can I visit the build site?

You are more than welcome to attend your site regularly; however, you will need to advise us when you do for safety reasons.
