  • I want to build a new home. Where do I start?

    You can start by arranging a no obligation appointment with Connolly Homes. Where we will be able to direct you with finance, house and land packages, land availability, home design, and price.

  • Should I consult with my builder before I buy a block of land?

    It is recommended that you discuss your intended land purchase with your builder as they can assist you in finding a suitable block. Keep in mind that if you are independently purchasing a block of land to check the available building envelope/easements (the area within the lot for construction) as this will vary across blocks/

    land estate areas and may affect the home that you can build.

  • Can I make changes to the plan?

    Yes Absolutely! At Connolly Homes all floor plans are flexible and are guaranteed to suit your family and its growing needs, so you can modify any design to suit your lifestyle at NO CHARGE!

  • No Plans at Connolly Homes suit your needs?

    No worries! We have a draftsman available to you, to consult and design a plan suited to your needs and lifestyle. We will arrange a meeting for you to begin your design concepts!

  • Will you build if we already have plans/sketch?

    Yes certainly, If you already have a sketch or a house already drawn up we are more than happy to quote on works other than our plans. Call us to discuss specifications and we can quickly provide you with a fixed price quote for the works.

  • What is a fixed price contract?

    A fixed price contract is that ONE fixed price to build your Home! Honest Up font costs that you can better prepare your new home budget and won’t receive any nasty surprises later when getting the bill!

  • What are the "Superior Inclusions"

    Superior Inclusions are fixtures and features that are included in the price of your new home. At Connolly Homes, we refer to our specifications list as the ‘Superior Inclusions” as that is what they are superior choice. In our inclusions list we let you the buyer have freedom and pick your choice! For example

    With the oven you can either choose electric, gas built in or free standing the choice is yours in your new home not ours!

    When looking at our inclusion lists it worth to note that many of our inclusions are not offered by other builders and to compare inclusions amongst builders when you are selecting the right builder for you!

  • Can I go out onsite?

    You are more than welcome to attend your site regularly; however, you will need to advise us when you do for safety reasons.

  • What is the expected build time frame?

    At Connolly Homes the average build time frame is between 4-6months, this is depending on the house size/design and the weather elements. We aim to build every house within 4 months from slab down and will be able to give you an estimation completion date once the roof is on.

  • What type of warranty will I receive with my home?

    For your peace of mind! We offer a 6 year Structural Warranty. We are fully covered by HIA Indemnity Insurance with insurance for the duration of construction and the delivery.

  • What is the Defect Liability/Maintenance period? and how does it work?

    Connollly Homes provide a increased Defect liability/Maintenance period of 6 months compared to 3 months industry standard and what other builders enforce. The maintenance period will commence the day of handover. Within the 6 month time frame this allows you to report any general maintenance issues to your builder, whether the issues are small or not we aim for you to Love where you Live and therefore No issues are too small at Connolly Homes!
